World In Chaos! WOW

As we enter the 21st Century one thing is becoming increasingly clear; the world is

in absolute chaos. With all our education, wealth, and high technology the military powers

of the world have been able to mass enough nuclear weapons to completely destroy the world at least 11 times over. As if once wasn't enough!

Presently we are experiencing a global warming trend; evidently we're just pumping too much greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into the atmosphere. One of the previously unknown hazards of burning fossil fuels.

We are having famines in parts of the world where literally hundreds of thousands of people are starving and it seems that the nations with extra food aren't able to get the needed food to these people because some paranoid governments feel that they might in some way be compromised in their power and control!

There's the rise of global terrorism that's being fueled by some Muslim extremists who believe that they should kill all who don't believe in Ala. In this fanaticism they think that they're actually doing Ala a favor and that they'll be rewarded for killing the innocent (we're known to them as infidels). Personally I don't even want to image that kind of a god.

As of 2009 the whole world is very quickly slipping into an economical recession of which the most brilliant financial minds aren't sure where and when it will stop. At very best they're guessing. The world has never seen the likes of this and there aren't any repair manuals to be trusted. People will do there best though. There's no other option! We're in for some changes that people would never have believed 50 years ago. Fasten your seat belts!

Reaching For Solutions

As the world drifts into ever increasing chaos our leaders are found reaching for answers. How do we stop terrorism, wars, international drug trafficking, global warming, poverty, starvation, over population and a myriad of other national and international problems.

The global recession that we are now experiencing has certainly made us aware of just how interrelated the nations of the world. We definitely need answers and we need to applied ever effective effort to live at peace with all peoples of the earth.

It's very interesting to note that with all our increased knowledge and communication we are yet to find lasting solutions to very fundamental social problems. The Middle East vividly illustrates these facts. There are a number of hot spots where violence is an everyday occurrence. In fact hatred and violence are simply the way of life. Who is capable of having people forgive one another and forget the past that has been bathed in tribal bloodshed for centuries. How do you legislate peace when the human heart is filled with generations of mistrust and broken promises? Where's the honest answers to these fundamental life preserving questions?

One World Government

Bringing all the nations of the world under one governing power makes a lot of sense. This isn't a new concept. It's been in the works for years. We're familiar with the concept, "New World Order".

Gideon Rachman of the Financial Times wrote, "A "world government" would involve much more than co-operation between nations. It would be an entity with state-like characteristics, backed by a body of laws. The European Union has already set up a continental government for 27 countries, which could be a model. The EU has a supreme court, a currency, thousands of pages of law, a large civil service and the ability to deploy military force. So could the European model go global? There are three reasons for thinking that it might. First, it is increasingly clear that the most difficult issues facing national governments are international in nature: there is global warming, a global financial crisis and a "global war on terror". (end of quote)

What is so amazing about this "Global Government" that is now seen as something both of necessity as well as attainable in the very near future is that God's Word foretold of a "one world ruler" being in place in the days just prior the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ. Coincidence? I think not.

One World Religion

Religion will very much be a part of the "New World Order" and presently there's a major effort going on to bring the major world religions together.

A recently launched website with the backing of technology industry and Hollywood elite urges people worldwide to help craft a framework for harmony between all religions.

The Charter for Compassion project on the Internet at www.charterforcompassion.org springs from a "wish" granted to "religious scholar" Karen Armstrong at a premier Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) conference in California. Charter for Compassion invites people from "all faiths, nationalities, languages and backgrounds" to help draft statements of principles and actions that should be taken.

Along with Charter for Compassion is the establishing of The Council Of Sages. The Council of Sages, a multi-faith, multi-national group of religious thinkers and leaders, will gather together and sort through all the world's contributions. They will then mold the final version of the Charter for Compassion from those words.

The Bible clearly teaches that in the days just prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ there will be a "One World Religion". The world will not be "anti god", however with the compromises necessary to blend all major religions into one there will be a definite rise of "anti Christ". The real sticker to lasting peace in the Middle East isn't Israel it's Jerusalem. It's who will control that city. The problem with formulating a "One World Religion" won't be Christianity it will be Christ.

Mark my words the closer we get to the glorious appearing of Christ the more true evangelical Christianity will be accused of intolerance. The intolerance will be solidly centered on "Jesus Christ being the only way of salvation".

Bible Prophecy Being Fulfilled

In the years following the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, between 1943 and 1956, they have helped to confirm the accuracy of the Old Testament. It is commonly accepted among Bible scholars that there about 2500 Bible prophesies recorded in the Old Testament of which about 2000 have been accurately fulfilled. It has been determined that the odds for all this to have happened by chance is 1 in 10 to the 2000th power; that's 1 with 2000 zeros after it.

It is estimated that it would take 200 billion earth's populated with 4 billion people each to come up with one person who could give 100 prophecies that would be accurately fulfilled in sequence. There have already been 2000 Bible prophecies accurately fulfilled. The most significant and historically significant prophecies are those relating to the Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed One; the One commonly known today as Jesus.

Many of the fulfilled prophecies were given between 700 and 1000 years earlier. With this kind of accuracy 2 Timothy 3:16 makes a lot sense. "All Scripture is inspired by God".

The chances of one person fulfilling all these things in such detail are next to impossible. This took God to arrage and fulfull. He has a plan, one that involves you.

God Has His Plans For Humanity

There is a plan, a "God plan" for the planet, for people, for you. People are God's creation and He has a very real purpose for us all. That purpose is love, joy and peace in the eternal presence of the Lord.

There's a problem in the earth and it's becoming increasingly evident. Wars, hatred etc. Why? What's it all about? Why can't we all live together in peace and harmony? The short answer to this question is, sin.

When sin entered the human race it separated us from God. God loves us but He is simply unable to make concessions with sin. Sin to humanity is like cancer to the human body. If you want to live the cancer of sin must be dealt with. Cancer cannot be permitted to have dominion.

God's plan for removing the the spiritual cancer of sin from His creation required a "God provided cure". That cure is found in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Gal 4:4,5 - But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, 5 to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. God sent Jesus to make away for us to receive forgiveness of sins.

God wants people to be able to receive the full rights of divine sonship but that can't happen until the sin question is dealt with in the human heart. There is a time frame during which salvation is extended to all humanity. 2Cor. 6:2 - For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right time" is now. Today is the day of salvation. Now is the right time to receive God's love, His forgiveness, His salvation, His freedom from the penalty and power of sin. The devastating effects of the spiritual cancer of sin can be stopped. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life and NOW is the time to get rid of sin in your life. Now is the time to turn to Jesus Christ and receive the cure for sin that He purchased with His blood when He died on the cross for you. The price for your redemption has been paid. You can be free from the spiritual cancer of sin today.

Jesus Will Return In Power & Great Glory

The 1st coming of Christ was predicted in Old Testament Scripture and did in fact happen exactly as God planned. His purposes for the 1st coming are being realized today. Ever person who turns to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin is "Born Again" by the power of God. They become His inheritance and He will return to earth collect the human merchandice purchased with His blood.

Jesus 2nd coming is a "double edged sword" that for sure. For the redeemed of the Lord it'll a great day when we see Jesus, our Savior face to face. However for those who refuse God's love, those who scoff at Jesus' sacrificial death on their behalf and mock God's plan of salvation for their life there will the fearful rage of God's holy anger and displeasure.

The same Bible that foretold of Jesus 1st coming foretells of His 2nd coming. 2Thes. 1:7-10 - ... when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from His glorious power. 10 When He comes on that day, He will receive glory from His holy people (NLT)

Tit 2:11-14 - For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 12 instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; 13 looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

Everything Is Made New

Things are looking grimmer all the time! Global warming; depletion none renewal resources; the threat nuclear war. Things are grim that's for sure BUT God will not let humanity completely destroy itself or the planet that God has chosen for them.

Make no mistake sin will be removed from God's creation. The world will be purged with cleansing fire a God. Then what? He'll make everything new and the promises He has made in His Word regarding the redeemed of the Lord inheriting the earth will be realized.

The immediate future for planet earth is one of great judgement but it doesn't end there. There's new heaven and new earth were the redeemed of the Lord live with God forever.

Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

Rev 21:2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

Rev 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

Rev 21:5 And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

Rev 21:6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.

Rev 21:7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

Rev 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

The future is bright for those who put their trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a "God plan" and it involves you but you'll have to decide what you want.
